Albuquerque Sunset Balloon Ride over the Rio Grande Valley
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
AlbuquerqueSunset flights are rare in ballooning. Most operators fly only at dawn, because that is when the air is reliably calm, so an evening slot is worth taking wherever one exists. The balloon crosses the Rio Grande Valley with the sun going down over the mesa and the Sandia Mountains standing behind the whole thing. The pilot talks about the region on the way, the same region that hosts the world's largest balloon festival every October. A toast and light refreshments follow the landing.
