Dubai Adventure Balloon Ride at Sunrise over the Desert Dunes

A sunrise flight for two over the desert outside Dubai. The balloon lifts while the light is still low, and the dunes turn gold in about the time it takes to gain height, which is what people book it for. Mornings out here are cool and quiet, and a balloon adds almost nothing to that. No engine, so the only sound is the burner, and between burns there is nothing at all. It makes for a strange kind of romance: mostly silence, at altitude, with a desert underneath.
