Balloon Flight over Manresa, Montserrat and the Pla de Bages

This is the Montserrat flight from the other side. Most balloons that cross the massif come up from the Anoia; this one leaves from Manresa, to the north, so the serrated ridge sits between you and Barcelona rather than on the far horizon. You meet at the Parc de l'Agulla car park and move from there to the launch field, where the envelopes are laid out and filled. There is a cava toast in the basket before take-off, which is unusual: most operators save it for the landing. The hour in the air covers the Pla de Bages, the wide plain that gives the county its name, with the artificial lake of the Parc de l'Agulla below and Montserrat filling the view to the south. Juice and biscuits are passed round during the flight. After landing, a 4x4 brings you back to where you started. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before. After that, or if you arrive late or do not turn up, there is no refund.
