Serengeti Balloon Flight from Seronera with Champagne Breakfast
A sunrise flight over the Serengeti from Seronera, in the middle of the park, with a transfer from your hotel at the start and back again at the end. The hour in the air follows no fixed route. The wind decides where the balloon goes, so the crew knows the launch point and not the landing one, and the flight moves between grass height and altitude depending on what the pilot finds in the air layers. A champagne breakfast follows the landing.

Serengeti National Park
Every flight takes a different line, because the wind sets it. The crew knows where the morning starts and not where it will finish, and that is part of the point. The basket moves between brushing the tops of the grass and climbing high enough for the horizon to curve, gold and pink in the early sun. The pilots have years of reading African wind, and they read the animals below just as closely. About an hour after lift-off the basket comes back down onto the plains.
