JohannesburgA traditional balloon flight over either the Cradle of Humankind or the Magaliesberg, with champagne in the basket. The pilot works the height: down to tree top level at times, then up again for the wider view across the country below. The tree top part is what to book this for. A balloon at that height moves at exactly the speed of the wind and makes no noise beyond the burner, so nothing below reacts to it. The meeting point is Kloofzicht Lodge & Spa, 20 to 35 minutes from Johannesburg, Sandton or Fourways. Check the terms before paying: all sales are final and cancellations are not refunded.

- We require a minimum of 4 passengers to confirm a flight on-board one of our larger passenger balloons. There are two alternatives available, we can provisionally book you onto the date then try to confirm another 2 passengers to fly with you or we can move your flight to the next suitable date.
- Children under the age of 7 years are not permitted to fly.
- We consider it unsafe to fly when pregnant
Good to know
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- Guests with any medical conditions, that they feel AirVentures should be made aware of, accept the responsibility to advise us accordingly.
- All passengers must be able to stand for the duration of the flight, and must be able to enter and exit the basket.
- To conform with the industry accepted practice, we consider it unsafe to fly when pregnant.
