JohannesburgThe Safari Flight is the version of this operator's Classic balloon flight built around what passes underneath rather than around the view in general. It takes off from inside the game reserve rather than from its edge. The balloon covers a large part of the reserve before drifting into the ones around it, and that is the whole point of the flight: game viewing from a basket, with no engine to announce your arrival. Departure is from Kloofzicht Lodge & Spa in Krugersdorp, about an hour from Johannesburg International and 20 to 35 minutes from Johannesburg, Sandton or Fourways. The meeting point can change with the weather. One thing to settle before booking: all sales are final on this flight, and cancellations are not refunded.

- We require a minimum of 4 passengers to confirm a flight on-board one of our larger passenger balloons. There are two alternatives available, we can provisionally book you onto the date then try to confirm another 2 passengers to fly with you or we can move your flight to the next suitable date.

- Guests with any medical conditions, that they feel AirVentures should be made aware of, accept the responsibility to advise us accordingly.
