Dos noches en el Nilo entre Luxor y Asuán, con el vuelo en globo incluido en la primera mañana.   1. Valley of The Kings

    The hot air balloon ride opens the trip. The driver collects you from your accommodation in Luxor early in the morning, and the flight looks down on the city from the air. Back on the ground, the Luxor leg starts on the West Bank, beginning with the Valley of the Kings, whose primary purpose was to keep the royal tombs of the New Kingdom pharaohs secure.

  2. Temple of Hatshepsut

    Next is the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. She admired the temple of Mentuhotep II and had her own designed to mirror it on a far grander scale, then ordered it built right next to the older one, in case the comparison escaped anyone.

  3. Colossi of Memnon

    The Luxor tour closes with a short stop at the massive Colossi of Memnon for photographs.

  4. The Karnak Temple

    Karnak comes next: three main temples, several smaller enclosed ones and several outer temples, the combined work of many generations of ancient builders over 1500 years.

  5. Luxor

    After the long day in Luxor, lunch is served on the cruise ship booked for you, and the sailing leg up to Edfu begins. The rest of the time is yours on board the 5-star ship.

  6. Edfu Temple

    Breakfast is on the ship. The guide then collects you from reception for the temple of Horus at Edfu, decorated in carved relief throughout. On the inner walls of the perimeter wall, scenes from the myth of the fight between Horus and Set are laid out, along with the text that describes it.

  7. Kom Ombo Temple

    Back on board, the ship sails on until it reaches Kom Ombo, where the guide is waiting. Collection is from reception again, this time for the double temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god and to Horus, the falcon-headed god. Two temples share one layout, each side with its own gateways and chapels. Then back to the ship for the rest of the day on board.

  8. Aswan

    Early on the final morning, the driver collects you from reception for the day's temple visit (check out before you leave, and leave your luggage at reception).

  9. Abu Simbel Temple

    A three-hour drive to the Great Temple of Abu Simbel, in a small group and an air-conditioned vehicle. King Ramses II had it built inside the mountain, and the facade of the Great Temple is about 38 meters long and 31 meters high. It is dedicated to the most important gods of the New Kingdom, Ptah (creator god of Memphis), Amun-Re (the great god of Thebes) and Re-Harakhte (sun god of Heliopolis), as well as to Ramses II himself. After the visit, the drive returns to the ship, where the driver is waiting to take you on to your accommodation in Aswan.
