4:20 am to 4:50 am: pickup at your hotel in Mexico City, then the drive out to the magical town of Teotihuacan where the balloon port is. Pickup time can shift with the weather and the day's logistics.

5:45 am: arrival at the launch field, with a coffee bar and cookies waiting. 6:10 am: take-off. The balloon flies 30 to 50 minutes and climbs as high as 10,000 ft over the archaeological zone of Teotihuacan. 7:30 am: landing, followed by the traditional ceremony, a toast with the pilot and the handing out of flight certificates.

8:00 am: breakfast at Restaurant LA CUEVA, served inside a grotto that is 100% natural and unique in the world. This is the only company with access to it.

9:00 am: a workshop on obsidian and maguey run by expert guides, with tastings of several handmade spirits distilled in Teotihuacan.

9:40 am: 1.5 hours free to walk the archaeological zone of Teotihuacan. Entrance is not included and costs 6 USD.

11:30 am: the drive back to Mexico City, with drop-off at the same place you were picked up. All times are approximate and can change with the weather and the day's logistics. The flight depends entirely on the weather, and flying directly over the archaeological zone cannot be guaranteed. On 95% of flights the balloon passes over it or very close. The cave restaurant keeps very specific hours, so there can be a short wait to get in, depending on the day. This is a group tour and all the stops are part of it. Anyone who wants to finish before the last one has to arrange their own way back to Mexico City.
